How to become a member?

Once you become a member and love our club, you may apply to become an officer in our club!

President (1-2)

  • Ensure adequate funding for the club in each funding cycle
  • Nominate the event organizers and arrange the event schedule at the beginning of each funding cycle.
  • Supervise the activities in the club.

Treasurer (1)

  • Apply for funding and submit reports to funding agency in each funding cycle.
  • Approve the reimbursement for catering and purchases.

Event organizer (6)

  • Organize one or more event. Detailed tasks include:
    • Decide the topic of the event at the beginning of the funding cycle.
    • Ordering the food for everyone and submit the reimbursement form.
    • Coordinate with the secretary to register and advertise the event.
    • Coordinate with the publicity chair to release any videos/pictures.
    • Coordinate with the web chair to write a short summary after the event.

Secretary (1-2)

  • Coordinate with event organizers to register the event on engage.
  • Coordinate with event organizers to advertise the event on GSC anno.
  • Coordinate with event organizers to advertise the event via email/group chat etc.

Human resources (1-2)

  • Collect information about new members and update the webpage.
  • Coordinate with event organizers about the date/location of events at the beginning of each funding cycle.

Publicity chair (1-2)

  • Publicize videos on YouTube, Bilibili.
  • Post photos on Instagram.

Web chair (1)

  • Coordinate with event organizers to add the event summary to our webpage.
  • Maintain the club website.
